Happy Birthday City Belle!

Happy Birthday to my City Belle!  

When you live in New York City ya gotta be creative when it comes to gifts.  There's lots of resources and things to buy already packaged or you can do it yourself.  Country Boy chose the latter and went the DIY route.  City Belle loves the cool contemporary flower arrangements like the ones at the 'high end' florist Belle fleur.  

  Well I can't afford no 100 dollar Belle fluer whatever they are called so I started thinking; I gotta come up with somethin' good.   So I was walking outside my apartment in Tudor City and noticed this little flower shop having a class, a flower grooming class? What in the world?  So I stepped right in and asked for the owner.  I said could purchase one of your old, short vases?  She was very nice and said, "Well I have some, but they're dirty and you'll have to wash them out."  I said let me at em'!!  I found this quaint little short vase for 5 dollars I said all I have is four bux and she said sold!  Then I went and got a mixed bouquet of roses on sale and proceeded to cut away at the stems, forming a cute little birthday arrangement for my City Belle.  

A perfect birthday;  flowers and Alanna Bess jewelry.
